As I pointed out, President Bush and the Republicans wrote the expiration of the tax cuts into law. They created the "largest tax increase in American history," not Democrats.
What you are forgetting is when the GOP tried to make the tax cuts permanent that the Democrats fought them. The expiration date was a compromise to get the tax cuts passed.

But I guess in your world that alone does not make Democrats responsibly in any way for the expiration date. You probably believe that no democrat has been using the "tax cut for the rich" talking point either.
