The voting in New Hampshire did little to clarify the muddied Republican field. The McCain, Romney and Huckabee campaigns are all girding for battle, and some political analysts still see Fred D. Thompson of Tennessee as a wild card in Southern primaries.
At this point, isn't Fred Thompson a "wild card" only in the sense of how completely he will be humiliated? He's currently around 13% in South Carolina and I don't think he's about to catch fire...
Exactly right, and HC was suppose to loose last night so be careful what you get from the polls.

I will say this about Fred. He is feared by all the other GOP candidates, and all the dems. It’s pure and simple. If the media would focus more on him, his poll numbers would be higher. As always the media will try and pick both parties nominee. I just hope that the polls in SC are like NH polls. Wrong. Visit fred08.com and educate yourself on this man. I saw a poll that showed that the Reagan conservative ideology was 60% important to the voter, yet by far Fred is the most conservative. That shows you that #1, people think they are politically savvy; yet don’t truly know their candidate, and #2 that the media does a great job in hiding the factual history and records of “their” candidates.

If that's the best acting he can do he doesn't stand a chance...
