These numbers also seem to contradict Rosen's thesis given that President Bush is the most partisan president in recent memory.

care to expand on this? If it stems from the 44% figure cited, that would seem to be stretching "trust a lot or a great deal" quite a bit. One could trust the president a great deal, but still believe he is extremely partisan.
