Brendan:
I have posted a reasoned(in my opinion) defense of the letter on my blog. Point is, the letter is hardly as out there as it may seem to someone who is not a Ron Paul supporter.

Ron Paul makes alot of sense to me,its the others that I think are not so wonderful.
Tancrado is another one who is on the ball.
On our present path we should be extinct in about 12 years or so. Read up on (The rise and fall of the Roman Empire),read it cover to cover, now take a look around.
What you will see if you read it is,part Rome, part Byzantium, part three on the way(us) Fail to learn from history and you are doomed to repeat it again and again.

Ron Paul is the best chance we have to reduce the size of government, allow more people to keep the fruits of their labors, keep us out of foriegn wars, and protect & keep our Constitution as the supreme law of the United States.
Call him nutty if you want, but this man is probably the only 100% genuine man in Congress. We need a president like Ron Paul. Anyone else will just be perpetuating the same old two-party farce that's been destroying our great nation from within for far too many years. One man can't do it alone though, and if we don't support him, you might as well start calling your friends "comrade" because without a major shakeup of the status quo, with a truly GOOD candidate, we're going to be part of a one-world government within a decade. Mark my words.

Ron Paul - pandering to the fringes, or reaching the masses who don't normally vote due to their disgust with the two-party system?

You be the judge.

Pandering is what you have when a person says what you want to hear, but doesn't really mean it. This is not "Dr. No's" style at all. Even his peers have said he's the most honest among them.

Also, Ron Paul enjoys more support from those who defend our country, based on who they are sending campaign money to, than ANY other candidate, R or D! Analyze that, Mr. Wonk/Hack.

Well well, Glen Beck seemed to agree with this tonight on his show... about the LOST treaty.

I just noticed that this blogger consorts with Wonkette -- that ought to tell you where his head is at... who is the nutty one?

You have just shown how completely uneducated you are. Have you been sold so totally on the lies or are you paid for, trying to bad mouth the ONLY chance for this country to be restored back to the amazing set up that millions have given their lives for? How dare you compare his handwriting to a murderer? He brought over 4,000 babies into this world, only wants what is rightfully ours by constitution, the bill of rights and the law which the politicians have chosen to ignore so that they can fill their pockets with YOUR money. Have you not seen America, Freedom to Fascism? You go and watch the following documentaries and come back, if you still feel the same, I will be shocked. Please Please RESTORE OUR REPUBLIC

The truth!

Unfortunately it took segregationist Governor Wallace to reveal the truth that "there's not a dime's worth of difference between" Republicans and Democrats. The Democrats willingly went along with the War in Iraq, suspension of Habeas Corpus, detaining protesters, banning books like "America Deceived' from Amazon, stealing private lands (Kelo decision), warrant-less wiretapping and refusing to investigate 9/11 properly. They are both guilty of treason.
Support Dr. Ron Paul and save this great country.

Bredan, thanks for sharing your find and giving us insight into Ron Paul's mind. I agree with many of Ron Paul's positions and ideas but why must he go over the deep end and try to appeal to people at the fringe? Lack of support and money would seem to be making him desperate.

We have posted number of times in our blog about Ron Paul and his supporter's comments make the whole movement seem like a cult.

In our latest post we linked to your page and hand typed his letter for anyone who would like to read it and not deal with the PDF document...

Brendan Nyhan dreams of meeting Charles Manson and becoming his political disciple. That is how much sense his whole stupid blog makes. The blog also proves that poly sci students at Duke do not have enough to do. Brendan Nyhan is still wet behind the ears in life and has nothing of import to contribute to any political discussion. Comparing Paul to a jewish unabomber proves it.

Don't fret Mr. Reasonable. You are doing an excellent job of whoring and scraping for a gig on Foxs News or CNN Today.
I never let facts get in the way of my political analysis either. Why would I want a constitutionalist as President when I can select from various coiffured Council on Foreign Relations members? What could be more America hating than the Constitution? Instead, I prefer to vote according to what the knowlegeable people in our media tell me who is mainstream and "has a chance". Only a kook or an anti-American terrorist who hates baseball and apple pie would do otherwise.
Good luck with your blog, don't forget to turn out the red light.

When I was a kid, many schools-- private and Catholic parochial schools-- had dress codes far stricter than anything I see today. And ironically, the boy's claim of "discrimination" could not have been made as easily under those rules, because shorts were allowed as part of the schools' uniforms. They weren't the sloppy, halfway between the knees and ankles variety you see today, though. Girls wore skirts of a certain length with knee socks, and boys wore shorts.
