Perhaps slightly tangential, but here is an aerial photograph of the 11,400 square foot residence of that environmental advocate Tom Friedman (who had the good sense to marry someone who's seriously rich).

And now we have two comments that are largely unrelated to Brendan's post.

The third party idea is attractive because the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence (or the grass grows greenest along the fence line?)
